NEW ILLUSTRATION!
Excited to be asked to create this poster for Capital City Retro Fest 2025 August 22-24th at the Gerry Frank Amphitheatre at Riverfront City Park in Salem, Oregon!
I was asked to potentially use the Salem Capitol of Oregon as the main imagery with the “Pioneer” statue at the top of the dome playing guitar and thought it was a perfect idea and what I drew is exactly what I pictured in my mind what it should be and look like. I wanted the linework to be kinda vintagey and choppy especially since it’s a retro fest and the subject matter is kind of far away.
I had a blast drawing in this style and hope to do it again in the near future. Thank you JFell, Harefest and the Oregon State Capitol in Salem!
